We know that closing our two clubs was difficult for you as well. Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions.

We will be updating this list of Frequently Asked Questions as things develop. We are committed to your health and safety and will continue to adhere to the Center for Disease Control guidelines and any other applicable safety guidelines. Be assured we will be providing you a safe environment.

Safety precautions implemented per state guidelines:

  • Staff and members will be required to wear masks AT ALL TIMES WHILE ONSITE.
  • State of the art MERV 17 air purifiers have been installed.
  • Touchless scan for no contact check-in.
  • Safety signs and reminders throughout the club.
  • Staggered cardio and strength machines to maintain proper distancing.
  • Floor markers throughout the club to promote social distancing
  • Members and Staff are required to “self monitor”, and if any symptoms they are required to stay home
  • Members required to wipe down equipment both before AND after use
  • We will have staff specifically to monitor and conduct additional cleaning and disinfecting as needed throughout operating hours.
  • We’ve increased our cleaning frequency & disinfecting protocols on all equipment and hard surfaces, tables, counters, door handles, equipment and are paying extra attention to items that are frequently touched.
  • Multiple sanitizing stations clearly marked throughout the gym. Including the entrance and exit.  Sanitation stations have been increased with Spray bottles, paper towels, disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizer.
  • Staff has been properly trained on all new protocols prior to opening.

Our new safety video will be available for all members and staff. Our top priority is health and safety, and we take this responsibility seriously. As a team, we will continue to work together. We will continue to monitor and follow directions from the Contra Costa County Health Services and provide updates as necessary. Our members and staff’s health is a priority.

All Membership billing will resume on October 15, 2020 (pro-rated for half of the month) and your membership will be extended to cover the time of the closure. Dues will now be billed regularly on the first of every month, starting November 1st. If you have a Paid in Full membership, the end date will be extended to cover the time the clubs were closed. This includes all billings for fitness, personal training, and Pilates, as well as annual/enhancement fees if applicable.

Your sessions will be available to you when we reopen. The expiration date on accumulated sessions will be extended to cover the time of the closure. During this time, we are offering a complimentary Freeze on your membership, waiving the standard $15 monthly fee.

We will be opening all fitness and weight rooms, locker rooms, massage, hydro massage, Pilates Reformer, group exercise classes (beginning 10/5/20), and MX4 (coming soon). Due to guidelines the following services are temporally unavailable until further notice: Steam + Sauna rooms, showers, child care, indoor pools, swim lessons, tanning, basketball, rock wall, family time, and the Discovery Bay location (DVF members can use the Brentwood location temporarily) We will be opening in phases, please continue to check the website for our class schedules, as there will be ongoing changes.

Yes. Operating costs never stopped and have increased due to COVID-19 operating guidelines.

Many members have decided to forgo those dues understanding operating costs continued. You may contact us at info@deltavac.com shall you choose to review other options.

Our staff will monitor behavior and kindly coach/remind members they are responsible for following state guidelines and DVHC does not take this lightly. If members are non-compliant, we will be forced to revoke memberships.

RE-opening October 1, 2020

Dear Valued Member,

It's finally happening, Delta Valley Health Club is REOPENING October 1, 2020. We are beyond excited to have you back, and we know you have questions. As you know, all clubs were closed to the public by Contra Costa County Health Services. Even though we were closed, maintenance and janitorial crews have provided additional cleaning and disinfecting in preparation for reopening the clubs and we are excited for your return.

Delta Valley Health club has been serving our community with its Health and Wellness needs since 2002. We are committed, and looking forward to servicing our community once again.
