My commitment to fitness & nutrition shapes my job as a personal trainer. I joined the Delta Valley staff in 2015 as a Wellness Coach, and am now a Certified Personal Trainer & MX4 instructor. Along with an extensive coaching and management background, I received my Personal Training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and completed two in-depth certification programs in Nutrition. I am passionate about helping people reach their individual goals, and believe that a healthy & balanced lifestyle with food and exercise can substantially improve a person’s life. Outside the gym walls I love music, hiking, running, spending time with my family, and I’m an avid true-crime podcast listener. My favorite piece of advice is “You are one meal or workout away from being on track.”
I strongly believe that health is our greatest form of wealth. A healthy body is the foundation of a healthy mind and a happy and healthy life. Fitness is a cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle; however, fitness goes far beyond how you look on the outside. Fitness improves your health, well-being, self-esteem, and quality of life. I like to call this “wellness”. Striving towards wellness is about daily choices and the synergistic effect of small changes making a big difference. A healthy lifestyle can make you feel alive, vibrant, and take you beyond your wildest dreams. I had the good fortune of being introduced to fitness at a very young age. That experience shaped how I have lived my life, the education path I chose, and influenced me to help others.
I have been involved in fitness and the Fitness Industry for over 25 years. My passion is about wellness and helping others achieve their wellness. I couldn’t ask for a better career. Knowing that I’ve played a small role in helping someone live a healthier lifestyle and become more healthy is, for me, as rewarding as it gets.
My approach is holistic — mind, body, and spirit. I believe fitness should be fun and enjoyable, something to look forward to, and something that leaves you feeling energized, satisfied, and successful.

As a fitness enthusiast since high school, I have always believed in the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. As a mother of three boys, I understand the difficulty of fitting in time for a lengthy workout. I respond to this conflict through my overall philosophy of quality and fulfillment of life, which is that health must become a lifestyle and not just a priority or chore. It is important to enjoy the journey we embark on to achieve our goals, whatever they may be, and not just to celebrate the result. I believe that the definition of “health” is balancing our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects to create the foundation of living a quality and fulfilling life.

Through my own personal health and fitness transformation journey, I have discovered that developing a healthy lifestyle is absolutely attainable by changing habits one baby step at a time. Before I was a trainer, I went through my own personal weight loss journey by losing 80 pounds in a year, and I have since maintained a healthy weight. I am on a mission to help people discover what healthy and fit is for them despite the obstacles that they see. I work with my clients to develop the best plan possible to help them see that a healthy lifestyle is absolutely achievable. The more we challenge ourselves to change, the more you will as long as you believe that change is possible.

As a coach my back round is in performance, structure, strength and conditioning. I’m always data driven in results and testing. Holding Certs in USA Weightlifting, Opex, and ADM ( youth weightlifting) and spending most of my life in some form of a gym. I specialize in balance; minimizing injuries and coaching my clients to their maximum potential through detailed individualized programming. Having lasting long term relationships with my clients is my number one goal, making each and everyone just a little better each day is my goal. As an athlete myself I enjoy exploring fitness through many modalities. I’ve competed in triathlons, crossfit at local events, and swam Alcatraz. I’m a lover of family, animals , and books.
I’ve been an athlete when I young, practiced japanese martial arts and join competitions all over Pacific Coast and Hawaii. During our training we would combine the traditional japanese practices combine other agility exercises or drills from other sports such as basketball and football. When I left for college I had to find another extracurricular activity, one of my college friends ask me to be his gym buddy and try his workouts, it was great, after training with him for a couple of months, I would notice there was definition in my physical appearance and strength was overall increase. During the time we were Physical Therapy students, and we talked to one of our professors who had an ACE Certification, and we thought why not get certified into something we love doing on a daily basis. This was something I wanted under my belt so I would have other options beside treating patients in a clinic based. Now I can aid and prevent future injuries.
